- Enclosure Type: Removable rear panel, allowing for either Open-Back or Closed-Back operation

The GT12 Pro Series speakers were the standard "in-house" drivers for Carvin's high-end guitar cabinets and combos (like the Nomad, Bel Air, and V3 series) during the 2000s and early 2010s. They were designed to be a high-headroom alternative to the Celestion Vintage 30, offering a "British" voiced tone with a smoother midrange and tighter low end. This cabinet was made in San Diego, California, USA. During this period, Carvin was a vertically integrated company, manufacturing their own enclosures, amplifiers, and even some speaker components in their California factory.
