Comments:

The Gibson G-Bird is a modern evolution of the legendary Hummingbird, which first debuted in 1960 as Gibson’s first square-shoulder dreadnought. Introduced as part of the Generation Collection in the early 2020s, the G-Bird was designed to offer the classic "bird" aesthetic and power at a more accessible price point, while incorporating modern features for the player. The hallmark of this line is the Gibson Player Portā„¢, an idea originally found in Gibson blueprints from the 1960s but only recently brought to mass production. It is a second soundhole located on the upper bout of the guitar's side. It allows the player to hear the guitar exactly as the audience hears it, providing an immersive sonic experience. Unlike many "budget-friendly" lines from other brands, the G-Bird is handcrafted in the same Bozeman, Montana facility as Gibson’s high-end Custom Shop acoustics.
