The Markbass Traveler 102P (often abbreviated as TRV 102 P) is a professional 2x10" bass speaker cabinet widely regarded as one of the lightest and most compact 400W enclosures on the market. This model has been a staple in the Markbass catalogue since at least 2006. Based on the serial number prefix "V", your specific unit was likely manufactured in 2010. The Traveler 102P was designed to solve the "heavy gear" problem for gigging bassists. It won the prestigious MIPA (Musikmesse International Press Award) for "Best Bass Cabinet" in 2011. It features custom neodymium speakers designed by Markbass (often in collaboration with B&C) to maximize power while minimizing weight, and the cabinet is constructed from high-grade, multi-ply poplar wood, which is glued and screwed for acoustic seal and durability.
