Comments:
The BAM series (Bass Amplification Modeling) was manufactured between 2001 and 2004. Released during the "modeling revolution," the BAM Head aimed to provide bassists with a "virtually unlimited" collection of classic amp and cabinet tones in a single unit. It was designed to compete with high-end digital gear by integrating these models into a powerful 500-watt power section. The amp features 16 factory presets and 16 user-definable presets, each with an "A" and "B" setting, effectively giving players 32 switchable variations. It is renowned for its highly accurate digital models of legendary rigs, including the Ampeg SVT + 8x10, Acoustic 360, and the Fender Bassman. The front panel is famous for its "spectacular light show," featuring LED-ringed knobs that automatically move or adjust to reflect the settings of the selected model.
